HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER Job Code – HR 264

VSAC seeks a Human Resources professional to coordinate the development, promotion and implementation of the corporate recruitment program and services.

Responsibilities:
  • Annual update of the employee handbook
  • Interpreting handbook policies and procedures for employees
  • Assuring legal compliance in area of benefits by conducting internal HR audits
  • Conducting compensation surveys, and producing key indicators for the recruitment program

Requirements:

  • Must have a working knowledge of federal and state laws governing employment and benefits.
  • Responsible for Looking for strong written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills with proven ability to work effectively with all levels of management.
  • Must be self-directed, detail and process oriented, with strong problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Presentation skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Experience with Internet recruitment
  • PHR Certification preferred
  • Successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years Human Resources or related field experience.

SUPERVISOR, TECHNICAL SUPPORT Job Code – FADO 265

Seeking a supervisor to oversee efficiency improvements, technical solutions and operational oversight for the Account Services Operations Department.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing supervision to Loan Analysts
  • Reviewing and analyzing performance and supporting ongoing development
  • Assist in developing enhancements and resolution of processing problems through project development
  • Testing and implementation stages in area of operational accountability

Requirements:

  • Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven supervisory skills highly recommended
  • Requires strong time management and organizational skills, demonstrated creative problem-solving, initiative and self-motivation
  • Successful project and workgroup management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to read, analyze and interpret complex technical material
  • Knowledge of education loan programs and financial operations and exposure to financial aid services/process preferred
  • Two years professional experience in the field of banking, customer service, financial aid or accounting
  • Bachelor’s degree highly recommended.
