VSAC respects our customer’s privacy, and we are careful to safeguard your personal information. Access to your personal and account information is restricted to those employees who need to know that information in order to provide services to you. Ethical standards, including those relating to confidentiality of customer information, are clearly set forth in VSAC’s Employee Handbook. All employees must certify that they understand and will uphold VSAC’s ethical standards.

We have designed the online services section of our Web site to provide secure transmission of information in your VSAC accounts.

Information in this section is encrypted (scrambled) when transmitted over the Internet. We hold a certificate of encryption from Thawte, a VeriSign Company. Data are transmitted through what is called an "SSL" (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. This creates a secure connection between our server and your computer. The SSL protocol ensures no one can intercept the data during transmission.

You can help protect your personal information. Do not share your account numbers, passwords, PINS, or social security number unnecessarily. Never open e-mails from unknown sources, and never disclose personal information to unknown callers.
