Completing your application

Use our checklist to ensure you successfully complete your application. 

Do you need help completing your loan information?
Visit the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) website at www.nslds.ed.gov. You will need a Personal Identification Number (PIN) from the U.S. Department of Education; you may request a PIN online at www.pin.ed.gov.

Processing Time: Processing normally takes 4-8 weeks. It can take longer if your loans are held by multiple lenders and during periods of exceptionally high volume, such as during June, July, and August. Until VSAC completes the application process, your loan terms remain unchanged — if your loans are in an active repayment status, please continue making all required payments.
