Workshops for Adults
VSAC offers a variety of workshops around the state for adults who are considering education, career, or life changes. Workshops are especially designed for adults without a four-year college degree.

Workshops include:
- Career Focus is for people who are considering a change of career or direction in their lives, but who are unsure of what they want to do or how to achieve their goals. The workshop covers assessment of individual interests, abilities, experiences and values, career exploration, decision-making, goal-setting, and available resources.
- Non-Degree Grant Application Workshop The VSAC non-degree grant covers tuition for income-eligible adults returning to school or entering training to improve employability or encourage further study. Bring your most recent tax return, and get free help completing application.
- Personality & Career Choice incorporates Myers Briggs personality type testing to explore how personality type influences our career choices and satisfaction.
- Returning to Learning is designed for people who have been out of school for awhile and are thinking about returning either for a degree or one course at a time. The workshop covers the nuts and bolts of college programs, special programs for adults, and other types of training programs. It also covers financial aid.
- Scholarship Search for Adults guides individuals through the process of searching and applying for scholarships to help meet education expenses.
