High School
We offer month-by-month online planning tips for high school seniors, juniors, and sophomores who are hoping to continue their education after graduation. Your student can find great advice about planning, applying, and paying for college or other training.
We also offer online monthly planning tips for parents of seniors. These tips can help you work with your student to navigate the college application and financial aid process successfully.
VSAC Outreach counselors serve every high school in Vermont. They visit at least monthly.
Services provided to Talent Search and GEAR UP program students at the middle school-level are intensified as counselors assist with academic support, career decision-making, college selection, and financial aid counseling. (Students who participated in the middle school programs are given priority for participation at the high school-level.)
Other services available to all students include career and college planning workshops (offered at the request of a high school) and financial aid presentations and workshops. The financial aid presentations — geared to seniors and their parents, but of interest to juniors, too — take place in the fall, and are offered at every high school in Vermont.
